AppSource Publishing

Need help getting your add-in onto Microsoft AppSource?

Getting an Office add-in approved is where a lot of teams get stuck. The manifest fails validation, the authentication flow does not meet Microsoft's security rules, or the UI trips a policy check. We have taken add-ins through certification many times, and we can do the same for yours.

What we handle for you

Pre-submission audit against the full AppSource validation checklist
Manifest review and optimization (manifest.json and the XML manifest)
Security and authentication compliance (Azure AD and MSAL)
Fluent UI and Microsoft design policy compliance
WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility audit for marketplace approval
Partner Center submission and resubmission handling
Transactable SaaS offer and licensing setup for ISVs
Post-approval support for version updates and recertification

How it works

Microsoft typically reviews a submission in 3 to 5 business days. Our job is to make sure that review is the only wait you have.

Step 1

Compliance Audit

We review your code, task pane UI, and manifest against Microsoft's 100-plus point checklist, then give you a clear list of what needs to change.

Step 2

Partner Center Setup

We configure your developer account, app listing, and, for ISVs, the commercial offer and licensing details.

Step 3

Submission

We package and submit through Partner Center with the manifest, listing assets, and test notes Microsoft's reviewers expect.

Step 4

Certification & Fixes

If Microsoft flags anything, we handle the response and resubmission so you are not stuck in a slow back-and-forth.

Step 5

Launch & Updates

Once you are approved, we help with go-live and stay on hand for version updates and future recertification.

Frequently asked questions

How long does AppSource approval take?

Microsoft usually reviews a submission within 3 to 5 business days. Our pre-audit is there so you do not lose weeks to repeated rejections.

Can you help if our add-in was already rejected?

Yes. Send us the rejection notes and we will work out what failed, fix it, and resubmit. Most rejections come down to manifest errors, authentication issues, or UI policy gaps.

Do you help with the legal and tax setup in Partner Center?

Yes. We guide ISVs through business verification, tax profiles, and payout configuration required for commercial listings.

Do you only publish add-ins you built yourselves?

No. We regularly take on add-ins built by other teams. We start with an audit so we know exactly what needs to change before submission.
