Microsoft AppSource is Microsoft's official marketplace for Office add-ins, Teams apps, and SharePoint solutions, and a listing there reaches over 400 million Microsoft 365 users. Getting certified means passing manifest validation, a security review, policy compliance, and functional testing, and Microsoft typically takes 3 to 5 business days to review a submission. Their auth already followed the multi-tenant pattern Microsoft expects for marketplace add-ins, which is often the harder gap to close; the rest was checklist discipline.
