In short
Message Prettier values your privacy. We do not store, share, or transmit your email data to external servers. All message processing happens locally within your Outlook client to ensure your data stays under your control and meets enterprise security standards.
1. Information We Collect
Message Prettier is an "offline-first" add-in. We do not require account creation, and the software does not possess the capability to transmit your personal data to our servers.
Data We NEVER Access:

- • Email Metadata
- • Attachment Content
2. Data Processing
When you use the Outlook task pane, the message transformation is handled by the local Office JavaScript API.
- Local Runtime: Calculations happen in your browser/desktop memory.
- No Storage: As soon as the task pane is closed, all temporary data is purged.
3. Security Standards
We leverage the security infrastructure provided by Microsoft 365. Since the add-in is hosted as a static application, it does not maintain an active database, significantly reducing the attack surface.
4. Compliance & GDPR
By design, Message Prettier is GDPR compliant because we do not collect, store, or share "Personal Data" as defined under Article 4 of the GDPR. We support your right to privacy by ensuring we have no data to provide even if requested.
